Dale-Glass Industries was founded in 1974 by Cecil Dale and Joseph Glass. The company began production in an old boat shed in Balmain, Sydney. Now DGI operates and distributes to all Australian states and territories.
DGI Sydney is the main distribution centre. Stock includes both structural and decorative Glulam. Specialised joinery and finishing facilities allow for full fabrication of DGI Glulam products for both domestic and commercial applications.

Manufacturing Plant, located in the upper Hunter Valley of NSW is the main manufacturing entity. Having its own laboratory and testing facilities the DGI Dungog plant has been designed for a continuous processing facility.
Constant upgrades in machinery and technology ensure that plant production is in the forefront of Australian Industry. The end result, and our aim, is to produce to the highest standards and the best quality.
The range is continually upgraded and extended to cater to fashion, industry and environmental requirements.

DGI Victoria Pty Ltd serves as the group's cabinet door and specialist, as well as distributing the full range of DGI Glulam. Fabrication and finishing services are also available.

Toolie’s Benchtops Pty Ltd with over thirty years experience in timber industry, Toolie’s Benchtops offers outstanding services and knowledge. With their new showroom at The Gap, this operation distributes all DGI Glulam products to service the Queensland market.

Custom Benchtops & Joinery distributing DGI glulam products in Western Australia. Fabricated and polished products can also be supplied.
Territory Saws & Hardware distributing DGI doors and glulam products in the Northern Territory areas.
Export Market DGI has been actively involved in export since 1994. As one of the founding members of an export network (Daplar Australia), DGI has witnessed the export potential of Australian Glulam to such markets as Japan, USA and the United Arab Emirates. This is an ongoing project.
